Limpopo Ladies (and Gentleman)--Feb. 2010
For the final course in a three part permaculture training program, these home-based care workers were invited to KwaNzira Urban Farming to learn about water management and harvesting. As a part of the course, we worked together to create an 11,000 L ferro cement water tank. These ladies (and gentleman) were exceptionally hard workers and were a joy to have at our home for a week. John Nzira will soon travel to Limpopo to assess the progress of these ladies (and gentleman) in managing their own water systems.
