  • ECO-TOUR at UKUVUNA Farm on 3 May 2014              This inspiring 2-hour eco-tour introduces you to the essence of permaculture, all-in-one ecological systems     at work: landscape design, plant nursery, vegetable & crop production, fruit, herbs and medicinal plants, companion planting, compost & earth worm farming, rain water harvesting, grey water treatment, and many more!

  •  The last Permaculture training sessions presented by John Nzira at Ukuvuna training centre in Midrand took place in September 2013:

         -  5-day Introduction to Permaculture Design course  from 2 to 6 September   (9h00-16h30)

  - 1-day Permaculture workshop is scheduled on Saturday 7 September (9h00-16h30)

  • The last 5-day INTRODUCTION TO PERMACULTURE DESIGN course, which was held on 13-17 May 2013 at the UKUVUNA Demonstration Farm Centre, in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa, was attended by 6 trainees from 4 different countries! Congratulations to all for a successfully learning experience, and all the best now in starting experimenting back home.   

  

  • 6 participants attended the last 1-day PERMACULTURE WEEKEND WORKSHOP, which was held on 11 May 2013 at the UKUVUNA Demonstration Farm Centre, in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa.
As winter (dry and cold season) is establishing in Gauteng, people were stunned by the   greenness and productivity of the centre permaculture garden. Amazement and inspiration were part of the harvest of the day for the workshop’s participants.
